..TXAFL………………

The Dallas Magpies, one of the founding clubs of the Texas Australian Football League (TXAFL), hosted its 2nd TXAFL tournament of 2004 on the weekend. In what was a great day of football for all new players and spectators, all three teams finished with a win and a loss on the day.

Dallas split their side up into two very even teams, and the newly formed Baton Rouge team joined forces with the Austin Crows to form the third team for the day’s matches.

Results:

Dallas def Fort Worth 5.7 (37) to 3.10 (28)

Fort Worth def Baton Rouge/Austin 7.3 (45) to 5.11(41)

Baton Rouge/Austin def Dallas 8.7 (55) to 7.6(46)
