8/23/04: The Dallas Magpies Australian Rules Football Club, looking to stake its claim on the MAAFL title in round six, travel to Atlanta on August 28 to face the Kookaburras for their third away match in the Mid-American Australian Rules Football League.  [Full Story].

8/16/04: The Magpies hosted its 2nd TXAFL tournament of 2004 on the weekend. In what was a great day of football for all new players and spectators, all three teams finished with a win and a loss on the day. Baton Rouge and the Austin Crows came together for the day’s matches. [Details]

8/11/04: The Dallas Magpies will hold an Australian Football demonstration and clinic for the many children who will attend the Pepsi KidAround over Labor Day weekend. “The World's Biggest Kids Party” is Dallas/Fort Worth's premier outdoor music and arts festival. [Full Story].

7/24/04: The ‘Pies have moved into a tie for first place in the MAAFL with a dramatic win on Saturday, over the Nashville Kangaroos. 13-9-86 to 10-18-78. The game, played in Nashville, was very similar to the two teams’ previous match. [Full Story].

3/31/04: The Magpies reach out to the Dallas Fort Worth community. On a sunny but blustery Friday, during their regularly scheduled physical education class, approximately 240 boys and girls in third, fourth and fifth grades at Dickinson Elementary in Grand Prairie got their first glimpse of a real, all-leather, fair dinkum, Australian football.
